Sponge cake is the easiest,fastest cake you can bake for breakfast.It takes 30 minutes tops to be ready.
1 cup all purpose wheat flour.
4 eggs (at room temperature)
50 grams white sugar(1/4 cup)
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Grease and line the baking tin with floor or greaseproof paper.
Sift a mixture of flour and wheat flour 4 times.
Add eggs,white sugar and cardamom,then mix until the content double in volume(became fluffy)
Add the floor bit by bit and try folding the flour mixture meticulously.
Finally pour the mixture into your baking container.
Bake for 20 – 25 minutes.
Cool the cake for 10 minutes and release the cake with a knife and turn it out.
Serve when fresh and enjoy.
